Born in Trenton, NJ, Mark J. Homa grew up in Falls Township, PA and attended Pennsbury High School where he lettered in football and baseball. He became involved in the local community through his parish, St. John The Evangelist Church. Mark earned a Division 1 scholarship in football as he graduated high school, but opted for another path.
After graduating from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance, Mark was offered a career with the Deak Perera Group. He chose to work with CBS Inc., followed by WCBS -TV, New York City, and WCAU-TV, Philadelphia, PA, in various positions. He rejoined the CBS family after caretaking duties, in CBS Outdoor Sales, Viacom CBS.
Mark served part time in the Coast Guard AUX, assigned various duties, and became a Materials Officer too, while pursuing media interests. He was associated with White Collar Pictures of Pittsburg, PA, before becoming involved in creative media development.
Mark became known for creating College Campus Cooking Series for the long-running TV series The Chef’s Kitchen. College Campus Cooking is viewed in over 92 million households, as a special edition, seen on NBC10+, You Too America and other media platforms.
Mark enjoys surf fishing and rifle shooting.
